When paying by invoice, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due one month after the invoice is received. The final payment is due 14 days prior to the visit date, or the reservation is subject to cancellation. No refunds are available after that time. Groups will not be permitted to enter the Museum or Quarry until the reservation is paid in full. Groups may not reduce headcount of reservations less than 14 days prior to the visit date, but may increase headcount up to 24 hours prior to the visit date, based upon availability. We cannot offer refunds to guests who are sick or cancel at the last minute.
If weather conditions, including but not limited to rain, snow, extreme heat, or severe storms, significantly impact the operation of the Quarry and EFM elects to close the Quarry, guests will be given the option to reschedule their experience within six months of the scheduled experience or a full refund.To make any adjustments to your reservation, contact groups@efm.org or call 856-284-DINO between 10:00 am–4:00 pm.

Experience the age of dinosaurs with Expedition Voyager VR, a 15-minute free-roaming, guided virtual reality adventure that sends participants 66 million years into the past. Explore prehistoric terrain, interact with the
VR accommodates up to four adventures per session, and all guests must be at least 56 inches tall. Tickets are an additional $25 per person and can be purchased upon arrival. This add-on is designed for small groups only.

Chaperone & Aides
Both schools and camps receive 1 free chaperone per 10 kids. In addition, one complimentary ticket is provided for a designated therapist or personal care attendant assisting a group member during their visit.

Fundraising

Scheduling
The museum is open from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, 7 days a week. On weekdays, groups may be booked for any time of the day with time slots running every 30 minutes starting at 10:00 AM. On weekends and holidays, they can be reserved for time slots after 2:00 pm.

Lunches
Lunch spaces are available in 30-minute reserved slots for up to 50 people at $100 per slot. Groups are welcome to bring their own lunches, which can be stored while you explore (please note, there is no refrigeration or microwave access). Larger groups may reserve multiple time slots.
For safety and logistics, a reserved lunch space is required for any group wishing to eat onsite—there are no free or outdoor picnic areas available.
Food and beverages can also be purchased at our Quarry Grounds Café on the Upper Level of the Museum; however, the café has limited seating, and large groups planning to buy lunches may still need to reserve a lunch space.

The general museum admission experience is primarily self-guided, but we do offer daily facilitated activities like Curiosity Club, Storytime, and Pop-Up Exploration Stations, where groups can interact and ask questions.
Guided Museum Tours are also available for groups of 20 people at a time for an additional $150 per tour. Larger groups can book multiple tours, with each tour accommodating up to 20 participants. This is for the museum only and does not include the Quarry.

School Field Trips & Homeschool
Homeschool Days
EFM invites homeschool families to enjoy a themed, hands-on learning experience featuring real fossils and specimens, plus full-day access to explore the museum. Each program begins at 11am and offers a new topic every visit, making it a fun and educational outing for all ages.
