    4. Be part of the first-ever Noon Year’s Eve: Asteroid Drop at Edelman Fossil Park & Museum, where the excitement blasts off before bedtime! When the clock strikes noon, we’ll drop our very own asteroid into the quarry to celebrate the end of one era and the start of another - just like the dinosaurs (but way more fun!).


    5. Keep the celebration going with a high-energy dance party, noisemaker-making, crafts & activities, a New Year’s Resolution Tree, and more family fun throughout the museum.

Quarry Grounds Café will have a special mulled cider available for purchase among other goodies.     2. Museum Store Sunday is a global advocacy campaign that communicates the value and importance of museum stores to the general public. This year, "Shop with Purpose" by shopping at Darwin & Co. whose proceeds benefit the mission of Edelman Fossil Park & Museum.

    3. We'll be offering 15% off of all items in-store and online (with code MSS2025) as a thank you for your generosity in supporting museum stores. For every $10 spent in the museum store, you'll be given a chance to win one of three prize packages made of Darwin & Co. goodies. Quarry Grounds Cafe will be offering a free coffee tasting for our custom in-house brews along with other seasonal treats for sale.

    Every Last Sunday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM


    1. We’re delighted to introduce Citizen Science Sundays - a free, hands-on program where visitors of all ages can take part in real scientific research. Held every last Sunday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, before the museum halls open to the public, these sessions spotlight a unique citizen science project each week. Guests can explore new tools, contribute data, and connect with both local and global scientific efforts.
